Carl Apicella

CES PRESIDENT

Carl has played pivotal roles in the environmental industry, including as a founder of Continuum Environmental Services, Ltd. and American Environmental Group, Ltd. (AEG), established in 2002, where he served as President from 2006 to 2016. Under his leadership, AEG grew to nearly 500 employees before its acquisition by Tetra Tech in December 2012.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the solid waste and environmental sectors, Carl has held diverse roles including General Manager of the Western New Territories Landfill (Hong Kong) for Swire BFI Waste Services Limited,

overseeing one of Asia's largest modern solid waste facilities. He was also President of the International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI) from 2008 to 2010 and holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering with honors from Ohio University. Currently, Mr. Apicella is a founding member of Continuum Environmental Services, Ltd.
